I’m running the London Marathon 2026 in memory of my Mam, Renâ.
This year, I’ll be running the London Marathon for a very personal reason.
I’m raising money for Asthma and Lung UK in memory and honour of my Mam, who lived with asthma her entire life and tragically died following a severe asthma attack. Asthma was always part of our family’s story and ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in medicine.
Asthma affects many members of my family, and I’ve seen firsthand how frightening, unpredictable, and serious it can be. Too often it’s misunderstood or underestimated, yet it takes lives every day and impacts millions of families across the UK.
By running the London Marathon, I want to help fund vital research, education, and support so fewer families have to experience the loss we did — and so more people can breathe easier, safer, and longer.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps Asthma UK continue their life-saving work.
