Lungs First, Finish Line Next! I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

I’m running the London Marathon 2026 in memory of my Great Nanny Marie, who we lost to lung complications. Her strength and kindness continue to inspire me every day. I’m taking on 26.2 miles to raise funds and awareness for Asthma + Lung UK, a charity that’s fighting to ensure everyone can breathe freely.

Every donation supports groundbreaking research, crucial support services, and life-saving advocacy for those affected by lung conditions. I’ll be running with her memory in my heart and hope in every step.

Marathon Training Update

Monday 20th Apr
Training for this marathon hasn’t exactly gone to plan. Back in September I was diagnosed with osteitis pubis, which is basically an inflammation around the pubic bone where a lot of key muscles attach. In simple terms: it makes running painful, recovery slower, and training far less consistent than I’d hoped. Some days I can run, some days I can’t — and every session has to be carefully managed.

It’s not the training journey I imagined, and getting to the finish line is going to be one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever taken on. But I’m still absolutely determined to see this through for my charity. The cause means too much to give anything less than everything I’ve got.

If you’re able to support my fundraising — whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing the page — it genuinely makes a huge difference. Every bit of encouragement helps keep me moving forward, especially on the tougher days.
