I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

Hello, my name is Amy, and I’ll be running the London Marathon 2026 in support of Asthma + Lung UK.

I’ve chosen this charity because respiratory illness has deeply touched my life and the lives of people I love. 

This run is especially meaningful to me because I will be running in memory of John Whittaker and David Whyborn. 

They were both incredibly special people who brought light, laughter, and kindness into the lives of everyone who knew them, and they are greatly missed every day. Running for them feels like a way to honour their strength and the love they left behind.

Breathing is something most of us never have to think about — until it becomes difficult. Seeing the impact that lung conditions can have on daily life, and on families, has shown me just how vital the work of this charity is.

Any donation, no matter the size, will help fund vital research, support families, and give people living with lung disease the chance to breathe a little easier. Thank you so much for your support — it truly means the world.
