I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
I run because for most of my life, I couldn’t. For 27 years, severe asthma defined what my body could and couldn’t do as running even a mile felt impossible after years of trying.
In 2023, a groundbreaking new treatment changed that. I ran my first mile, then my first 5K in November, and 358 days later, I ran my first marathon in New York City.
Today, every mile is a reminder of how far I’ve come. I run to give hope to others living with asthma and lung conditions that what feels impossible today may not always be.
I’m running the London Marathon to raise funds for Asthma + Lung UK to support research that makes the impossible possible and to provide resources for those still facing the daily challenges of asthma and lung disease in the UK.
