I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

I feel privileged and proud to be part of Team Breathe and to be given one of the Asthma + Lung UK London Marathon 2026 places and I'm really excited to get started!

I was inspired to run for the Asthma + Lung UK in memory of my Nan, Rita, who passed away in September 2024. She was a long term sufferer of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

My Nan was also a member of her local Breathe Easy Support Group, where she helps organise trips and run events for people of the local area who have lung conditions similar to hers. 

1 in 5 people in the UK has a lung condition. That means 10,000 new diagnoses per week. I'm running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK the only UK charity looking after the nation's lungs. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world without lung disease. Just £8 allows one of the nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering support to someone in need.
