I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

I am so, so excited to share my fundraising page.  I am extremely grateful to be running the 2026 London Marathon for a wonderful charity: Asthma + Lung UK.  It’s quite difficult to put down exactly why I’m running for this cause without writing a novel.  

For starters respiratory medicine is something I’m hugely passionate about.  I’m training to become a respiratory consultant and can see first hand the debilitating effects that these conditions have on people’s lives.  From common conditions such as asthma (still severe) to life changing diagnoses like lung cancer.  I’m so excited to be a part of this field of medicine and to be able to feel that I can make a real difference. 

I have also seen personally the effects of these conditions have with multiple family members suffering from asthma as well as losing a grandparent to lung cancer.  

There is still so much work and research needed in this field of medicine which is why I’m thrilled to be raising money for this charity. (Finally, If anyone wants to talk more about healthy lungs, my door is always open!)

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
