I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

I’ve been through my fair share of trouble with my lungs, having two different rounds of blood clots consuming my lungs in 2020 and 2022. The doctors don’t know how or what caused them, and have said I’m a very lucky girl to have not died with a 1/3 chance of death with the same condition. In 2023, I underwent surgery to attempt to remove the remaining clots, however this was unsuccessful. As a result I am now on lifelong daily blood thinners and have roughly half lung capacity. I have been incredibly lucky to not be too severely impacted by this and able to still play sport, run and even complete my every day activities without too much thought! Others, unfortunately, do not have the same luck as I do. So I am running to do this for those who wish they could, but can’t, whilst also raising awareness to lung health! I just wish to make it easier for others to access the help they need, work towards improving symptom management and even a cure for their conditions. Any and all donations, big or small will go such a long way and are greatly appreciated xx
