I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

I myself and multiple friends and family members either have asthma or a lung condition. I’m running for this charity to raise money and awareness to help have a deeper understanding and give people a chance to live a life where they don’t have to suffer.

In the uk, approximately 160,000 people a year are diagnosed with Asthma. For COPD there are around 115,000 new diagnoses annually according to NHS. People need to be educated and understand the severity and seriousness of these conditions 

Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
