I’m running the London Marathon in 2026 for Team Breathe!
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition.
I’ve lived with asthma all my life and often spent days in hospital during childhood.
Asthma attacks – mostly mild, some severe – made me think that I couldn’t do everything that other kids could do.
In the years since then, two things have become clear to me:
Asthma medication and treatment have continually improved over the years; my daily symptoms are minimal.
Exercise has dramatically helped my lung health.
That is why I will be running the London Marathon in April 2026 in support of Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe.
Every pound that I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs:
£22 is enough to allow one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.
£24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
