I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
Marathon? Easy peasy lemon weazy. As someone who has lived with asthma all my life, I am running this race to raise money for a cause that is very dear to me. I have felt first hand the pains and barriers that living with asthma offers, and if there is anything in my power to help, then so be it.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
My Updates

Day 1: Countdown Begins
Thursday 3rd JulToday is Day 1 of an unforgettable journey: I’m officially running the London Marathon to raise funds for Asthma + Lung UK!
For as long as I can remember, respiratory health has been close to my heart, especially as a life-long individual with asthma. Millions of people across the UK—young and old—struggle every day with asthma and other lung conditions.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe freely. They fund life-saving research, advocate for better care, and support families living with chronic lung disease.
This is personal, and I want to give something back. Beyond taking my first steps as a baby, running a marathon might be the biggest challenge I’ve ever faced, but it feels meaningful to do it for a cause that touches so many lives, and people I know.
Over the next few months, I’ll be:
-
Training harder than ever before
-
Learning how to fuel my body (and calm my mind)
-
Asking for your support, encouragement, and maybe the occasional pep talk when training gets tough
Thank you in advance for being part of this journey. Together, we can make every breath count.
