I’m back for one last time… I’m running the London Marathon to fight for lung health!
For anyone who knows me you’ve all had the messages where I swore I’d never do this again. After my last marathon in Chicago, I confidently retired my running shoes to the back of the cupboard and said “never again”… But here I am, lacing up for one final dance with the London Marathon. It feels right to run my 12th & FINAL marathon at the same place as I ran my first in 2015! Whether it’s madness, optimism, or a temporary lapse in judgment (probably all three), I’m back for one last hurrah. So if you’d be so kind as to donate, I promise to run the miles, endure the blisters and only dramatically complain most of the way round. Let’s make this final lap count!!
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference & that’s why I'm running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
