I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for my Dad, my hero 🦸♂️ 💙
I’m beyond grateful to be able to run the London Marathon 2026 in April - because the pain I'll endure (again) is nothing compared to what my Dad went through.
On the 24th July 2022, our world broke in two when the main man in our lives passed away from a short, but aggressive battle with Lung Cancer. Not giving us time to process the the type of cancer or what that meant for my Dad or us as a family.
Having no visible symptoms until it was too late, this cruel disease took a fit, healthy, larger than life Husband and Dad from us far too soon.
So for every mile of discomfort I run, will never compare to the pain he went through. So Dad, this one's for you!
1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. Theres a new diagnosis every minute.I'm running The London Marathon 2023 for Asthma + Lung UK. Theyre the only UK charity that fights for everyones right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
