I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
🏃♂️ Running with Every Breath: My Marathon for Asthma and Lung Health 💙
Hi im Jay and I’m running the marathon not just for myself — but for the millions of people living with asthma and lung conditions.
As someone with severe asthma, I know firsthand how tough it can be to do even the simplest things when your lungs are working against you. But I also know the power of determination, support, and the belief that you are more than your condition.
Running a marathon with bad asthma isn’t easy — but that’s exactly why I’m doing it. To show others that yes, it’s possible. To prove that with the right care, community, and courage, people like me can still chase big goals.
I’m raising funds for Asthma + Lung UK so that people living with lung conditions can continue to get the vital support, treatment, and hope they need. Every donation goes toward research, resources, and real help for those fighting to breathe easier every day.
Please support me and this incredible cause — for the people who are still fighting, for those who feel limited by their condition, and for a future where asthma doesn’t hold anyone back.
Let’s show the world that every breath counts. 💨💪
Thank you so much for your support! ❤️
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

“Every Breath Counts: Running the Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK”
Wednesday 2nd Jul Running a marathon is never just about crossing the finish line. For me, it’s about every step, every breath, and every reason behind the journey. In April 2026 , I will be taking in 2 marathons one of the biggest challenges of my life — running 2 marathon to raise awareness and funds for Asthma + Lung UK, a charity that’s doing life-changing work for people living with lung conditions. Why I Chose Asthma + Lung UK
Breathing is something many of us take for granted — until it becomes a struggle. Whether it’s asthma, COPD, or other lung diseases, millions of people in the UK live with conditions that affect their lungs every single day. Asthma + Lung UK supports these individuals with vital research, education, and frontline services.
This cause is especially close to my heart because since I was a child I have suffered with bad asthma and have had to learn over the years how to control my breathing and choose what to do and how to do things differently than other without asthma but this is now day to day life and I want to show others that anything is possible no matter what.
