I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
In April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK.
In January 2024, I lost my wonderful Nan after her long battle with COPD - and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her. Watching her struggle to breathe, even during simple everyday tasks, was heartbreaking. But throughout her illness, Asthma + Lung UK gave us constant support. From providing clear information and practical guidance to giving support when we felt lost - their help was invaluable, not just to my Nan but to our whole family.
I’m running to honour her memory, to remember the wonderful person that she was and to give back to the charity that gave so much to us.
Lung conditions affect millions of people across the UK - from asthma to COPD and beyond - however they don’t always get the attention or funding they deserve. Asthma + Lung UK are fighting to change that - giving everybody support whilst they fight.
Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help them continue this vital journey- and it will mean the absolute world to me as I cross that finish line with my Nan in my heart.
