I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health in memory of my Pops
I am raising funds for Asthma + Lung UK as a tribute to my dad, who sadly passed away on 24th May 2025 following a road traffic accident. His existing lung condition, COPD, meant he was unable to recover — and without that condition, he may have survived. Running the London Marathon is my way of turning grief into purpose and helping others living with chronic lung conditions. He is missed so very much, as a family we are finding this new normal extremely difficult. This is my way of channeling my grief into something proactive, remembering my Pops every step of the way 💙
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

Longest run yet
Sunday 9th Nov 7 great miles! 🌅 Up & out early on this gorgeous morning. I always think about Pops on every single run & reflect on all the wonderful memories we made together. Tricky day today with things going on & the little reminders of the upcoming Christmas festivities but I also found comfort in thinking about Christmases past. Share

Wet Run
Saturday 20th Sep Wow a super wet run I had last week, was tempting to not go as it was bouncing! But you can’t do that when you’re marathon training so off I went. My trainers squelched, I looked like I’d been for a swim, mascara was smeared across my face! I’ve never been a wet - still a good run
Sunrise Holiday Runs
Sunday 10th Aug I had some beautiful morning runs whilst away - up before sunrise to run as the sun came up. It was extremely peaceful and a lovely way to start the day. I felt Pops was close by 💙
