I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for Mum and to fight for lung health!
Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my page. I am really proud and excited to be running The London Marathon 2026 to raise money and awareness of lung disease and conditions.
My Mum was diagnosed with bronchiectasis in 2018; a manageable, but life long disease that will gradually become worse. Having never heard of the disease, the Asthma and Lung UK legends provided knowledge and comfort straight away.
You wouldn't know that mum battles with this every day (unless she has one of her coughing fits!). She is still active and lives life to the full, despite infections and illness becoming more common every year.
Mum is the person who got me into running at 10 years old and I have been running ever since (I'll be 36 when the marathon arrives!). We all know how beneficial running and walking are for our lungs and overall health, so it seems only right to take on probably the most famous running event.

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
