I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

I have has asthma for most of my life and have had to rely on the use of medications & sprays since being a small child.

I remember not being able to join in with my friends while I waited for the medication to start working & stop wheezing.

These days, thanks to the advancements in medicine & charities like ALUK, my asthma for most of the time, is well controlled.

This will by no means be an easy challenge for me. I've had a bout of pneumonia which has left scarring on one lung & in October I broke my foot!

I am running for Asthma & Lung UK, charity close to my heart, to raise both awareness & funds for everyone who has a lung condition and the right to breathe.

Living with asthma has never stopped me from running, but more & more it has taught me to pace myself & never take a good breath for granted. Every mile running is a reminder of how the right support, research & treatment really are.

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

Thank you to all of you who sponsored me in doing the London Marathon, I very much appreciate it.
Was a very hot day, 20 degrees+, which is a lot since my hottest training run was 8 degrees!
Still I managed to cross the finish line & really enjoyed the incredible atmosphere and support along the way.
Thank you all again xx

Only 7 days till I run the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma & Lung UK!
My last but one run on Monday & I had a fall, nothing serious just scraped knees & bruising. Won't stop me on the day, so looking forward to it.
