I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
This is something that I've always wanted to do, but never dreamt that I actually would! I have been running consistently since 2020, averaging three 5/10km runs per week, but I wouldn’t say l am a natural runner and I’ve never run more than 12km! Throw in a recently diagnosed heart condition and lower back pain, training hasn’t been off to the easiest of starts. However, I am incredibly motivated to nail the training and complete the London marathon in 2026.
I'll be running with Team Breathe to raise money for Asthma and Lung UK, which is inspired by my Mum’s lifelong challenge of living with chronic Asthma.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition, and ultimately everyone deserves the right to be able to breathe easily without pain. Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.
I would be very grateful for any donation you could make, as every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
