London Marathon 2026

I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

I’m running the London Marathon in 2026 to raise money for Asthma and Lung UK to support their incredible work, care and research. This cause is extremely close to home for me. My mum is a chronic asthmatic, which has resulted in her being hospitalised multiple times throughout her life and as a consequence she must take medication each and every day just to help her breathe. Previous members of my family, including my Grandad also suffered with asthma. The condition continues to be an issue amongst children and adults in the UK so any small donation would help tremendously. 

I have never ran a marathon before so this event will be a huge challenge for me, please come along on this journey with me. 

I will be completing running events, including a 10k and half marathon and organising several fundraising events to help in my efforts of raising the funds for the charity. 

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

Wanted to see how far I could go post-injury at a sensible pace (desirably the pace I would like to run the marathon in) and thought I did pretty well! Felt I could have kept going but don’t want to push it too much without more base fitness.
