I’m running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK because so many people close to me live every day with asthma or lung conditions, making even small things like changes in the weather just that little bit harder.
My 4 year old nephew hasn’t been diagnosed with Asthma yet as he is too young, but there has been many many times that he has suffered with suspected asthma attacks / wheezes with huge difficulty in breathing at different levels, to the point of needing to hospitalised more than once in a very short period of time. He is still undergoing investigation and will be following a treatment plan until he can get a formal diagnosis.
The asthma and lung UK charity provides so much support for parents online and this has helped my sister sooo much in supporting him, recognising the signs in children and knowing when to seek help at the right time!
That’s why I’ve pledged to raise £2,500 for Asthma + Lung UK, supporting life-saving research, care, and understanding for people living with lung conditions.
