London Marathon 2026

🩷🧡I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK 🧡🩷

I’m running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung Uk because many people close to me live with asthma and have either experienced, or live with lung conditions every day, some of my closest friends live with asthma daily and both my nephew, Junior, & I both suffer from seasonal asthma making those weather changes and chest infections a bit harder.

As well as this, my mum also lives with asthma, and after she got COVID-19 in 2020 she has also been dealing with “long COVID” which has left lingering symptoms which make everyday tasks, like walking our dog, just that little bit harder.

My Stepmum suffers from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). My Nan and Grandad (Jean and John Hall) both suffered from COPD also, which suppresses the airflow in and out, COPD is a progressive disease that gets more severe over time. There is no cure for COPD but thanks to organisations like Asthma + Lung Uk there are treatments to ease symptoms to make those everyday tasks a little lighter.

On top of that, both my Nan Jackie and Grandad John battled lung cancer. Lung cancer can be very aggressive and a tough battle, and due to advances in treatments from funding from charities like this one, I'm glad to say my grandad was able to beat his battle with lung cancer.

This incredible charity funds vital research, offers life-changing support, and fights for better care and understanding of lung conditions. Every donation brings us closer to a future where no one has to suffer in silence, struggle to breathe, or face a lung condition alone.

That is why I have pledged to raise £2500 for Asthma + Lung Uk, so more people can get the support and recognition for their lung conditions when they need it the most.

If you can donate, even just a few pounds, it would mean the world to me and to many. If you can't, a share goes a long way too.

Let’s make every step count. For my mum. My best friends. My stepmum. My grandparents. My nephew. And the millions of others fighting to breathe easier every day.

Thank you🧡🩷💜
