I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
I am running the London Marathon in support of Asthma & Lung UK, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with lung conditions through research, advocacy, and support. Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition.
This cause is deeply personal to me. My dad passed away from pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable disease that causes scarring in the lungs, making it harder and harder to breathe over time. As his illness progressed, I saw how increasingly difficult and frightening it became for him to breathe and manage even the simplest daily tasks. By supporting Asthma & Lung UK, we can help fund vital research, provide essential resources, and work towards better treatments and care for those living with lung disease.
Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
Thank you for your support.
