Running the London Marathon in Loving Memory of Anish Nagar

Dear All
In April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon for the very first time to raise money for Asthma + Lung UK, and the reason is incredibly personal.

I’ve known Anish since the day he was born. His dad, Nelash, and I have been best friends since we were 3 years old (more like brothers than friends) which meant that Anish was always like a son to me. Losing him so suddenly earlier this year due to an asthma attack has had a profound impact on all of us. He was only 26 years old, full of potential, energy and kindness. There isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t think about him.

As a family, and as friends who loved him deeply, we want to do something positive in his memory.

So next April, I’ll be running alongside his mum, Rakhee, to help raise awareness of how serious asthma can be and to support the vital work of Asthma + Lung UK.

Any support you can give – whether it’s donating, sharing the link, or simply spreading awareness – would mean the world to me and to everyone who knew and loved Anish.
