Paul & Helen are running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

Hi,
We are raising money for Asthma & Lung UK via various fundraising activities such as hot drinks and homemade cakes at local football matches; festive afternoon tea, mulled wine and homemade cakes. We are also running the London Marathon in April 2026.

We have been fundraising for since 2023 for Asthma and Lung, they are the only UK charity that funds research into lung disease including asthma, COPD etc.

We appreciate every £1 that is donated and helps towards activities such as just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.

Collection of Bib!!

Friday 24th Apr
Well there is no going back now I collected my bib from the Expo and I think I am all set, feeling excited and terrified at the same time but I know with the support I have received and will get on the route I will make it around. Thanks Paul 

Charity Refreshments & Homemade Banana Bread for Junior Football

Tuesday 14th Apr
Since Sept 26 we have been providing Teas, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Homemade Banana Bread and a selection of homemade cakes and snacks on Saturday mornings at our football teams (Whitegrove & Warfield FC) home venue. Keeping the players and supporters fully refreshed and warm on the cold mornings. This has been an on going occurence and will finish in May 26. 
It has also been a great opportunity to inform people of the invaluable work that Asthma and Lung carry out. Spreading the word and sharing the challenges people have with lung health.  

Mulled Wine and Cakes Afternoon

Tuesday 14th Apr
We held a Mulled Wine and Cakes Afternoon at our house, over a number of hours on the Saturday afternoon we managed to raise £300.00 and everybody enjoyed the mulled wine (more so as the afternoon progressed) and the cakes went down very well
