I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!

 I'm Running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK! 

This cause is personal to me because:

• I lost my lovely Grandad Fred to lung cancer 
• I live with asthma myself, and for years it held me back from doing things I love, especially running. Cardio used to mean excruciating chest pain, and it’s only recently, with the right knowledge and training, that I’ve been able to overcome those barriers and start running long distances. 
• My mum, husband and son also have asthma, and my 1 year old is showing signs of it too. For us, every winter means an increased risk of dangerous chest infections leading to many 111 calls and A&E visits.
• Running has had a hugely positive impact on my mental and physical health and it's a shame to think so many people are missing out due to lung conditions

 I want to show my boys, and everyone living with a lung condition, that it doesn't have to limit you. With the right support, treatment, and mindset, you can still chase big dreams and achieve amazing things. 

Chronic lower respiratory disease is one of the biggest killers in the UK, yet lung conditions still don’t get the attention or funding they deserve. That’s why I’m proud to be running for Asthma + Lung UK. By supporting, you’ll be helping to fund life-changing research, provide expert advice, and campaign for better lung health across the UK.
