I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
I’m running the London Marathon 2026 — not just for me, but for the 12 million people in the UK living with a lung condition.
Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with severe asthma. It turned my world upside down. The sports I loved? Out of reach. Everyday activities? Sometimes a struggle. It’s been a long, frustrating road — but thanks to the brilliant team at Royal Sussex County Hospital (Brighton) and life-changing biologic treatments (Mepolizumab and Tezepelumab), I’m finally back on my feet... and running (I’ve not ran for 8 years and the most I ever did was 10k).
Now I’m taking on 26.2 miles (42k) to raise money for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity dedicated to fighting for everyone’s right to breathe.
Every minute, someone in the UK is told they have a lung condition. That could be your friend, your parent, your child — or you.
I’m running to say thank you for the care I’ve received. I’m running so that someone else might one day be able to play their favourite sport again and do the things they love. I’m running so we can fund more research, provide more support, and give more people the breath they deserve.
Just £24 can fund an hour of life-saving research. Every donation brings us one breath closer to a future where no one is held back by lung disease.
On top of Asthma I’ve just turned 40 and it’s like now or never before I’m old. Haha
If you can, please support me. Let’s breathe easier, together. 💙
