I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to fight for lung health!
My Mum sadly passed away in 2024 after a long battle with a breathing condition called COPD. Towards the last few months of my mums life, every minute of the day was a struggle to breathe and this was truly heart breaking to see.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Running the London marathon is something I’ve always wanted to do and the fact I’ll be doing it in memory of my mum makes this even more special to me.
Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
Thank you for reading my story. I would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor me, regardless of the amount. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you x
