I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK!
London Marathon 2026? I’m coming for you!
Not only is this a MASSIVE personal challenge and a goal of mine I’ve always wanted to tick off, but Asthma & Lung UK is a cause that is very important to my family…
Tragically my Grandad Michael lost his life to a fatal asthma attack at the age of 50 before I was ever lucky enough to meet him or tick off any milestones with him, leaving both my Mum (20) and Aunty (18) without their beloved Dad at too young an age. And on top of this Asthma is something that has seriously affected my family in the years since, with my Mum also living with the effects of Asthma daily.
That’s why, in 2026 I want to run the London Marathon as part of Team Breathe - to raise vital funds for a charity I care deeply about and most important for series of conditions that affects millions of people with conditions like Asthma, COPD, and other chronic Lung Diseases.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition, and every day 3 people lose their lives to Asthma.
I want to make a difference by supporting Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
