I’m running The GNR in the fight for breath!
Every minute, someone in the UK, including myself is diagnosed with lung disease.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with severe asthma and more recently Bronchiectasis. Both conditions are medicated but will remain with me for life.
This has had a profound impact with my health and life in general. Most notably, my running ability, which has diminished significantly.
I have been training for The Great North Run (half marathon), which i will run next Sunday 7th September for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 could go towards Health Care Advisors and Respiratory Specialists supporting someone with the information they need to live well.
