I’m running London Landmarks Half Marathon in the fight for breath!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running London Landmarks for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 could go towards Health Care Advisors and Respiratory Specialists supporting someone with the information they need to live well.

London Half Marathon 2026

Tuesday 2nd Sep
In 2026, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of my Nanny, Mary. 

My Nan was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in the summer of 2018, and fought this condition for just over 4 years. Research into this and many other lung diseases, proved to be crucial in aiding her to continue living as freely as possible and enjoy spending time with her family. 

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis is a lung condition that scars your lungs and reduces the efficiency of your breathing. Unfortunately, we still do not know the cause of this disease, but research has enabled us to slow the effects of the condition and prolong life expectancy. 

I have chosen to fundraise for Asthma & Lung UK  due to their extensive research and groundbreaking studies which have led to better knowledge and understanding of many different lung conditions. Ultimately, the aim is to prevent and/or cure these diseases. 

However small or large your donation may be, every bit counts to making a difference.
