I’m running Cardiff Half Marathon in the fight for breath!
I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon in memory of my incredible father who we sadly lost on 24th November 2024. My father suffered with COPD and emphysema, so I have decided to raise money for Asthma + Lung UK.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease, and I want to make a difference. Asthma + Lung UK are the only UK charity that fight for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 could go towards Health Care Advisors and Respiratory Specialists supporting someone with the information they need to live well. As an asthma sufferer who has also received a diagnosis for long COVID, I myself I am one of the many people who rely on the amazing doctors and nurses within the NHS respiratory team to keep my lungs as healthy as possible. Any support would be amazing to go towards lung health.
