I’m running the for Asthma + Lung UK!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

HALF MATH 2026

Friday 17th Apr
I’m running this half marathon to raise money for Asthma + Lung UK, a charity that supports people affected by asthma, COPD, lung cancer and other lung conditions across the UK. Lung disease affects millions of people and remains one of the UK’s biggest causes of death, yet it is often under-diagnosed and under-treated. Asthma + Lung UK provides vital advice and support through their helpline, helps people manage their conditions day to day, funds life-saving research, and campaigns for better care, earlier diagnosis, and cleaner air, so lung health is finally taken seriously. 

This run is in memory of my grandma, who lived with COPD throughout my life and later lost her battle to lung cancer. Watching her struggle to breathe and seeing how much lung disease took from her is something I’ll never forget. By supporting this run, you’re helping Asthma + Lung UK fight for better care, stronger support systems, and a future where fewer families have to experience the same heartbreak. Every donation helps bring us closer to a world where everyone has the chance to breathe easier.

Sadly, for me and my family, we know first-hand just how devastating lung disease can be. We’ve seen the impact it has not only on the person living with it, but on everyone around them — the worry, the hospital visits, and the feeling that more could have been done with the right support at the right time.
