I’m running London Landmarks Half Marathon in the fight for breath ! and to do the biggest run of my life so far 😬
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running London Landmarks for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 could go towards Health Care Advisors and Respiratory Specialists supporting someone with the information they need to live well.
Any support would be amazing in my fight for lung health!
My Updates
Burghley House 10k
Sunday 10th May Hi, yesterday I did my first run since the marathon. I went in un prepared, no training in the past few weeks. The course was mis advertised so a real mix terrain challenge. It affected my whole body including my breathing, so running still for Asthma & Lung UK was even more relevant. I did it tho in 1h 09 so definitely not my best. Next Month its the 10K Orsted Grimsby 10k. I’m going to get some new Trainers and get some extra runs in.

Taking a leap at fulfilling one of my Marathon ambitions.
Monday 14th Apr For years I’ve thought I’m just not good enough to undertake anything bigger than a 10k. While I have a few of those under my belt and not fantastic at them I haven't felt the need to really push myself to do better until now. Its always been a dream since childhood to do the London Marathon and I really hope someday thats possible , the LLHM is the obvious next step. Unlike a 10k , I can’t just stroll up to the starting phase line of the HM without any training. So I have the best part of a year to get my head in the game and a whole load of strength and distance training in. As an almost life long asthmatic I’m aware of the challenges it can present so it’s a natural choice to support such an important charity. I look forward to sharing the journey with you and welcome any encouragement and support along the way.Thank you to my Sponsors
