I’m excited to be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon in May 2025 as a wee challenge to myself and to support Asthma and Lung UK, a charity and cause close to our families hearts. 

Asthma is a chronic and life long condition that affects the airways in the lungs and often people with lung conditions aren’t accurately diagnosed at an early stage - and even when they are diagnosed, they're not given the care they need. Any contributions would be massively appreciated and would help maintain life-saving helplines and support research for better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of asthma and lung conditions. Time to get training!

Monday 19th May
Hey everyone, 

so we’re under a week to go until the half marathon. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and helped me reach my target, you have all helped to support an amazing cause with vital research and those affected with asthma and other lung conditions. I’m very excited and nervous for the day and I’ve got a goal time in mind so hopefully we can achieve that. My 18 week training is coming to an end and this week is all about rest, fuel and getting in the mindset. Any runners with some tips please send them my way. I will be sure to update and thank you all again on race day!

7 weeks to go!!!

Monday 7th Apr
Hey everyone, little update now we’re on the 7 week countdown to race day. Training has been going well mostly, there have been a few hurdles mainly shoe related and my poor feet are struggling 🤣, However I’m sticking to my training plan and I completed my longest ever run on Sunday which was 15km. I remember looking at my running plan when I first signed up for the half marathon and seeing this distance and thinking I’d never be able to run that far, so I’m feeling accomplished. Small amount to go to reach my target, thank you to everyone who’s donated so far, please share the link if you can, to get as many donations as possible! 🫶🏻
