I’m running Manchester Marathon in the fight for breath!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running the Manchester Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. 

Just £33 could go towards an hour of an Asthma + Lung UK Respiratory Nurse Specialist on their helpline. A+LUK nurses give expert advice on understanding a new diagnosis, medication and treatment options and living well with a lung condition.

Wow. Well I’m going to take part in a Marathon! 

In October last year I weighed my highest of 17st. Currently I am at 14st 8lbs. 

Doing this is a go big or go home target set. I can’t wait! I know it’s going to be tough. I know I’m going to fall out with a lot along the way. But one thing I do know. Is I’m going to complete this. 

I have suffered with Asthma for pretty much my whole life and have never let it hold me back. This is the next big challenge that is proving that.
