London Landmarks 2026

I’m running London Landmarks Half Marathon in the fight for breath!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference. I'm running London Landmarks for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 could go towards Health Care Advisors and Respiratory Specialists supporting someone with the information they need to live well.

Any support would be amazing in my fight for lung health!

Running a half marathon is a significant achievement for anyone. For many living with asthma, staying active and pushing physical limits can feel daunting. Yet, with the right preparation, mindset, and support from organizations like Lung UK, it’s absolutely possible to not only participate but thrive in such a challenge.

Asthma affects millions worldwide, and while it can complicate physical activity, it doesn’t mean you have to give up on your fitness goals. Running the London Landmarks Half Marathon is a powerful way to demonstrate that asthma doesn’t define your limits. This unique race takes runners through some of London’s most historic and breathtaking sites, making the experience not just a race but a celebration of strength, endurance, and the city’s rich heritage.

Lung UK is an invaluable resource for runners with asthma. Their mission is to improve lung health for everyone, offering guidance, advocacy, and support to those affected by lung conditions. By partnering with Lung UK or supporting their cause through the London Landmarks Half Marathon, runners contribute to vital research and awareness campaigns that benefit the entire asthma community.

Lung UK also provides practical advice and emotional support to help participants prepare for events like this. Whether it’s tips on managing symptoms, training safely, or connecting with others who share similar experiences, their support can make a real difference.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a scenic journey through the heart of the city. Participants pass iconic sites such as:

  • Tower Bridge
  • The Shard
  • Borough Market
  • The Tate Modern
  • Shakespeare’s Globe
  • The London Eye

Running these landmarks with the city’s skyline as your backdrop is an unforgettable experience, reminding every participant that they are part of something special—both a physical challenge and a community united by passion and perseverance.

Stevie, I just want you to know how genuinely inspiring what you’re doing is. Training for and running a charity marathon is already a huge physical and mental commitment, but doing it to raise awareness for asthma makes it even more meaningful. You’re not just running miles you’re giving a voice to people who live with this condition every single day, and that matters more than you probably realise. It takes a special kind of strength to turn compassion into action the way you have. Every early morning run, every tired muscle, every moment you choose to keep going instead of stopping is proof of your determination and your heart. You’re showing people that awareness isn’t just words it’s effort, persistence, and showing up even when it’s hard. What you’re doing has a ripple effect. You’re helping educate people, encouraging conversations, and reminding those affected by asthma that they’re seen, supported, and not alone. That kind of impact doesn’t disappear when the race is over it sticks with people, and it changes how they think and how they care. No matter how the marathon goes, you should be incredibly proud of yourself. You’ve already succeeded by standing up for something important and putting real energy behind a cause that deserves attention. So keep going, keep believing in what you’re doing, and remember that so many people are cheering you on every step of the way. You’re doing something powerful, Stevie—and that’s worth celebrating. 💙🏃‍♀️ - gavra

Stevie, I just wanted to send you a huge message of support and admiration. What you’re doing is genuinely inspiring. Taking on this challenge for Asthma + Lung UK shows such strength, compassion, and determination, and it means so much to everyone who’s been touched by asthma or lung disease in any way. Running for a cause like this isn’t easy — the training, the mental push, the tired legs — but every step you take is helping to raise awareness, fund vital research, and support people and families who rely on this charity every single day. That makes every mile incredibly powerful. You should be so proud of yourself for committing to something that will make a real difference. Your effort, dedication, and heart are what truly matter, and it’s an honour to support you in this journey. I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way and can’t wait to see you smash it. Good luck — you’ve got this, and you’re doing something amazing 💪🏃‍♀️💙
