I’m walking to make a difference.....
On the 5th September Im lacing up my trainers and taking part in the Great North Run 5km (in my case walk)
One in seven people, in the UK, have a diagnosis of a lung disease, lung disease can affect anyone, at any time and for a myriad.of reasons...and for some, there seems to be none!
I'm not taking on, the GNR 5km, just for myself, living with "grumpy unpredictable lungs", but also for others, friends and family, who have been affected by, and live with a lung condition...and everyone else out there also living with lung condition
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Every pound I raise takes us closer to a world where everyone breathes clean air with healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice to someone in need.
