I’m running the London Marathon in the fight for breath

As life-time asthmatic navigating life with airways primed for inflammation and infection, I know how difficult and desperate it can be to breathe sometimes. Medicines and treatments have come a long way in my lifetime.  There is always more to do!  I want to make a difference and help others with lung diseases. I'm running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. 

Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.

“Breathing Looks Good on You!” Something my Mother would say to me at various times during my childhood when my little lungs were poorly and put to the test.
