Running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung in Memory of Trevor Horton
I'm incredibly excited to be running the London Marathon as part of Team Breathe for Asthma + Lung UK.
I’m taking on this challenge in memory of my late grandfather, Trevor Horton, who battled Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) for many years. Despite his condition, he remained active for as long as he could. Sadly, his health declined in 2021, and he passed away on New Year’s Day 2022.
IPF is a cruel lung disease with no cure, but with more research, we can work towards better treatments and support for those affected. Every pound raised will help fund life-changing research and provide crucial support to people living with lung conditions.
