I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
I’m delighted to running as part of TeamBreathe in the 2025
London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK. Both my wife and my son have asthma, but
thanks to amazing medical advances they are able to lead active lives. Such
advances depend on research funding which is one of the reasons why I ran for
Asthma UK in the 2016 London Marathon.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Earlier this year, after suffering some respiratory issues, I too was diagnosed with mild asthma. This, along with becoming a State Pensioner next March, will make my second London Marathon even more challenging than the first!
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
