I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!
I will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 27th April for Asthma and Lung UK. I have had asthma my entire life and used to be so embarrassed by it, having to be ‘that kid’ using their inhaler on the side of the football or rugby pitch. Now I am older I am aware that it affects so many people, with a huge 7.2 million people in the UK alone, that being around 1 in 10 children. I am running to not only raise money and awareness for the charity but also for every kid out there that feels embarrassed or ashamed to use their inhaler too.
This is going to be a huge challenge for me, having to do my training with small baby disturbing that all important recovery sleep every night! But I am so determined and can’t wait to cross that finish line with my son waiting for me.
