I’m running the London Landmarks 2027 in memory of my Nan
My name is Lily, and next year I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of my nan, who we lost to COPD in 2020.
She was the strongest and most fiercely independent person I knew, so it was incredibly difficult to watch a disease slowly take away the freedom and pride that meant so much to her. COPD affects far more than the lungs — it changes everyday life not only for those living with it, but for the families beside them.
Running this half marathon is my way of honouring her memory while raising money and awareness for families currently facing the same reality. It’s a challenge that means a great deal to me personally, and I hope it can contribute, in some small way, towards supporting others affected by lung disease.
Thank you so much for any support or donation — it genuinely means a lot.

I’m so proud of you. You are doing this for an amazing cause. You are doing everyone in your family proud and I can’t wait to support you and cheer you on all the wayyyy whooooo!!!
