I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

I'm running the London Marathon (my first marathon!) 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

In the past few years, I’ve lost dear ones to Lung Cancer and it’s something no one should have to suffer from.

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference.

One month on

Thursday 29th May
I forgot to provide an update but one month on and I can say, that was definitely a day I’ll never forget. I seem to have forgotten the pain though and added my name to the ballot for next year!!

I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated, sent a message of support or helped me along with my training. I couldn’t have done it without you!

That being said, I’ve got £182 to go so please spread the word and help me get to the fundraising target by 27 June! Xxx

Taper time

Thursday 10th Apr
I’ve been awful at updating this page each week but I truly appreciate all the donations, support and messages I’ve received so far!

I’ve managed my longest run of 32km and I’m officially in the taper period - hallelujah! 

I’m focusing on my touch rugby training at the moment as Nationals is a week after the marathon but I’ll also be resting when I can so I’m good to go on the day.

Can’t wait to run out there with everyone and again, thank you so much for the support!

5 weeks out

Sunday 23rd Mar
It’s only five weeks to the big day and thank you to everyone who has helped me get over 50% of the fundraising goal already!

I locked in a 24km run yesterday in 2hrs 30mins and gearing up to beat that next week.

First long run training session complete!

Sunday 9th Feb
To show my dedication to this cause, I'll be updating my long run each week until race day. Yesterday, I managed to run a half marathon, which is something I didn't know I could do right now.

This is a positive start to my training and I'm hoping I can reach at least a 30km run before the big day :)

Tuesday 4th Feb
I’m not going to lie, I didn’t know I was running the London Marathon until today and now I only have less than 3 months to train for a full marathon.

It’s not going to be easy but I’m going to do it.
