I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Seeing the effects Asthma & other lung conditions have on the people close to me makes it all the more personal. Those close to me as well as thousands of others rely on the work being done by Asthma & Lung UK and the money they receive is vital in allowing their work to continue!

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.

I'd be very grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small!

This is going to be quite a journey for me but I’m excited to share it with everyone and raise money for a good cause!

Marathon Number Collected✅

Wednesday 23rd Apr

As I got to the Excel centre this morning the timer said 92 hours to go😳 Marathon Number is collected, Malibu cans have been purchased (amongst other things like deep heat and paracetamol for the days following), outfit is prepared - Let the carb loading stage begin! Thanks again for all the support - I am suuuupeerrr close to my fundraising target!! Xx

ONE week to go!!

Sunday 20th Apr

One week left to go! This years medal was released this morning - a very nice looking gold medal which hopefully this time next week I will be wearing around my neck! As always, thank you everyone for the support and donations xx

9 days to go!

Thursday 17th Apr

Not sure where all the time has gone but it is now only 9 days until the marathon.

I am now ‘tapering’ which means the distance I am running in training is decreasing every session to avoid overusing my leg muscles before the big day.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, it really does mean a lot.

For those coming to see me on the day, thank you so much the support is very much needed🫶🏼 (CANNOT wait for the 🍺 after I finish)

January Update!

Saturday 1st Feb

The official training plan started at the beginning of January and each week consists of an ‘easy’ run, an interval run and then on Fridays, a long run where the miles increase each week.

With 85 days left to go, the training and fundraising efforts will continue to intensify but it’s all for a good cause and so I am ready for the challenge🥰

Today I officially registered for the London marathon, so the build up to ‘proper’ marathon training begins😅

There is just under 6 months to go until the big day🏃‍♀️.

As the early evenings draw in, the early morning runs begin. I didn’t think I would be too keen on going for a run at 7am but I’ve actually thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lots of hard work is yet to come but I’m taking it day by day.
