I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

Running the Marathon has been on my Bucket List for a while & I am so excited to be running for an amazing cause! Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make! & a big thank you to those who have already donated.

With my job, I deal with people with lung conditions & I know the difference Asthma + Lung UK's advice can make to them.

Completed my first 10k

Sunday 22nd Dec
So pleased that I completed my 10k today - ran 1hour, 4minutes & 12seconds. My husband & 5 year old Twins set off with me - so grateful for their help! Glad to have completed it in time to enjoy Christmas. Next step - Marathon training will officially start. So excited & slightly nervous too!

1st Team Breathe Zoom Meeting

Monday 11th Nov
We had our first meeting today - I think 33 other Runners which they have said that this year (2025 team) is the biggest team they have had! They were really positive & said that everyone will be finishing the Marathon (phew!) but also talked about fundraising, training & nutrition. I think I am on track considering this is my 1st Marathon & I'm not a runner! Hoping to complete my 1st 10k run before Christmas! X
