I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

So windy first 6.5 miles and the last 1.5 miles. The miles in between were fab. Photo is of me at the end arriving home. Felt a broken woman today 😆

I’ve a lot of reading up to do over the next few days but I’m excited to start a proper training plan next week. April doesn’t seem that far away…… (Thanks to Candice for my very cute little marathon gingerbread decoration in Team Breathe colours) We are both running on 27th April - excited!

This may (does) sounds a little bit crazy but I’m running the London Marathon 2025 😬 I’m not a runner, although, I have always been fairly sporty until children and (family) life took priority. 
I’ve wanted to get into running to get active again, to help my mental health and to have a focus. Signing up to do the London Marathon means I can push myself, be accountable and raise money for my chosen charity - Asthma and Lung UK. Many of you will know that we have immediate family with asthma and lung conditions, just like many of you will too. I just hope I make it to the day itself - let alone across the finish line 🤣
