I’m running the London Marathon 2025 to fight for lung health!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!


Hi my names shaun :) 

I have been incredibly lucky to have secured a place in the London Marathon 2025 raising money for this extremely important charity ASTMA + LUNG UK whilst running it in memory of my beautiful fiance Sarah apps, who sadly lost her battle to COPD on January 25th 2024 aged just 44.

As a family its been the hardest of years, we are still trying to navigate and understand what has happened.
Sarah was diagnosed with COPD a number of years ago, as time had gone by she slowly got worse and her body got weaker. She struggled everyday with breathing making easy everyday tasks extremely difficult for her. 
Sarah has left behind 4 children, Ashley, Alfie, Georgia and little Lola, also 3 little grandchildren, Maddison, Isla and Teddy.
She loved nothing more then spending time with them all and jumped at every opportunity to do so. I cant put it into words how much Sarah is missed by us all. She will never be forgotten.
soo i will be running the London marathon all 26 miles for Sarah my sweetie because its something she could never of done because of COPD. 
Please share and donate anything you can, with your help maybe we can make a difference to someone else with a similar illness.
