I'm running London Marathon 2025 in memory of my Dad.

In April 2025, it'll be 20 years since my lovely Dad passed away from lung related illnesses, so this seems like a fitting time to run some marathons in his memory.


Between June 2024 and April 2025, I'll be taking on 5 marathons, one for each decade of Dad's life.

01/09/2024 City to Sea Marathon

15/12/2024 Malaga Marathon

02/03/2025 Grand Canal Canter Marathon

27/04/2025 London Marathon


Those of you that know me will know that I'm a very fair weather runner and training through the winter is going to be a challenge! I'd be really grateful for any donation you can make - big or small - to help research treatments in this area and provide support to those struggling and their families.

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute.

I'm running The London Marathon 2025 for Asthma + Lung UK. Theyre the only UK charity that fights for everyones right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

Marathon 4/5 ✅

Monday 3rd Mar
It was a very difficult day at the Grand Canal Canter in Tiverton yesterday, but I am thrilled to have ticked off marathon #4! It's finally starting to feel like this challenge might be possible - see you in London!!!

Marathon #3 ticked off back in December in Malaga with a big PB! Lots of Aperol Spritz & Paella to celebrate!

Tuesday 3rd Sep
On Sunday (01/09) Ben and I completed the City to Sea marathon from Exeter Quay to Babbacombe (first official outing for the charity vest!) I felt vastly underprepared but really enjoyed the day - even the 6 brutal miles of hills and so many steps at the end! Marathon #2 in the bag and I continue to be totally overwhelmed by people's generosity - thank you so much for your donations. Having a few weeks rest now, then all eyes on #3 in Malaga!

Monday 1st Jul
Yesterday, I completed the Exe Estuary marathon from Budleigh Salterton to Topsham and back again. It was a hot hot day and a real challenge at times, but thrilled to have one done and hoping the sea dip afterwards will help my recovery this week!
