My dad suffered with chronic kidney disease but sadly passed away due to problems with his lungs on 12th July 2026. He suffered with empyema, pneumonia and COPD.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Every pound I raise takes us closer to a world where everyone breathes clean air with healthy lungs. Hopefully in the future we don’t need to watch our loved ones struggle for breath.
Just £24 could support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
