I’m walking to make a difference.
I’ve lived with asthma for 15 years, and each year it has become harder. I’m not a “typical” asthma patient, even though I’ve often been told I am. This past year has been especially severe, and it made me realize how urgently people like me — people with difficult, complex asthma — need better support, understanding, and research.
Asthma isn’t just “a bit of trouble breathing.” It affects every part of daily life. It’s not something you can ignore or push aside, and this year I truly felt that. I could have lost my life. No one should have to come that close — everyone deserves a chance at life, even those of us living with chronic lung conditions.
I’m walking to raise awareness and to stand up for people who face these battles every day.
