Walk to Support

By Gemma rowntree

I’m walking to make a difference.

As many of you will be aware, my mother recently passed away primarily due to a lung condition which this charity works hard to find treatments and cures for such conditions. We have decided to do a sponsored walk from Blackpool to Fleetwood to try and help raise funds for this charity in memory of my mother. Any help with support would be very much greatly appreciated. Please take the time to read the statement below that would also be very much appreciated. If anybody else would like to join in on this walk, even if it’s just for a short leg of the journey, you will be more than welcome. Please let us know.

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Every pound I raise takes us closer to a world where everyone breathes clean air with healthy lungs.

Just £24 could support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.

Any donations you can give are hugely appreciated thank you for supporting me and everyone out there living with a lung condition.

Thank you very much for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the finish line.
